Nalanda youth dies under suspicious circumstances

On Tuesday, villagers blocked the Bihta-Sarmera two-lane road by placing the dead body of a laborer near Sosandi village of Rahui police station area of Nalanda. During this, hundreds of villagers took to the streets demanding post-mortem of the dead body and compensation. The deceased has been identified as Shyam Paswan, 35-year-old son of Raj Kundal Paswan, resident of Sosandi village. The deceased lived in Rohtak, Haryana and worked in an ice cream factory. Only 15 days ago he had gone back from home to Rohtak for work.
Dead body sent from Haryana to Bihar
Here, regarding the incident, the father of the deceased told that his son used to work in the ice cream factory Rohtak for the last 20 years. He wants to get his son’s body post-mortem done so that it can be clear whether his son died in a road accident or was killed. He told that he was undergoing treatment in Rohtak for the last 3 days, when he died, the body was sent from there to Bihar through an ambulance.
Police reached the spot
On receiving information about the road jam, the BDO, CO and Police Station Head reached the spot with their team and pacified the angry people. After which the body has been taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
